IFOAM Asia envisions to nurture and represent “Life Agriculture” or the Organic Movement in Asia in its full diverse cultural, economic and ecological context. Upholds the principle of “Organic” or “Life Agriculture” to support both human life and ecology; Recognizes family farms as the core unit of farming communities and as stewards of nature.
Established in 2011, the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association (VOAA) is the representative organization of the organic sector in Vietnam. Using our unique position, we strive to open the two-way gate for organic agri-food products, from Vietnam to the world market.
Supporting Organisations
The ALGOA project was first initiated by IFOAM Asia in 2013 under the concept of linking bio-villages / eco-villages in India, Korea and the Philippines. Goesan County became interested in the project and signed MoUs with Dumingag, Philippines in September 2014 and two bio-villages in Kerala and Nagaland in India in November 2014.
The Young Organics Global Network is a group of young, innovative leaders from across the world who are passionate about living a life that embodies holistic principles of Organic Agriculture of Health, Ecology, Fairness, and Care.
